Instagram Caption Fold Writer

Instagram hides the rest of a caption behind “more”. ToolUpa treats the first 125 graphemes as the fold you must win, checks that your keyword is in that fold, and clips at 2,200 characters. Hashtags can sit at the end or in a first-comment line. This is not a ranking score and it does not post.

How to use it

  1. Name the topic, the reader, and the phrase that must appear before “more”.
  2. Pick an angle, a length, and where hashtags go.
  3. Generate three variants. Rewrite any fold that is missing the keyword.

    FAQ

Is 125 characters the official fold?

Instagram’s wrap shifts with emoji and font. 125 graphemes is a planning estimate so you write the visible line first.

Does putting hashtags in the first comment rank better?

ToolUpa does not claim that. The option exists so the fold stays readable.

    Will this post the caption?

No. Copy it into Instagram yourself.
